This tool will allow you to upload a data set in .csv format and then let students generate unique samples of the data based on their student ID numbers.

Enter the date and time when the data set will be available.

Enter the number of rows you would like to sample from the data set.

Enter a 4-digit PIN to secure the data set.

Terms and Conditions for Canvas Wizards Data Spell


Introduction

Access to and use of the Canvas Wizards Data Spell tool is governed by these Terms and Conditions. Agreement to these terms is required for usage of the service.

Use of Service

Canvas Wizards Data Spell tool is designed to generate a sample .csv based on a unique ID number from an uploaded master .csv file.

User Information and Privacy

  • Account Information: This tool does not request user information.
  • User Information: This tool asks for a unique ID to generate a sample of data from a saved file. This unique ID is not stored.
  • Data: Data files uploaded are saved and stored for a maximum of 1 year after the set "close at" date. After this the files, and associated Data Spells are automatially deleted.

Responsibility for Use

Users are responsible for the proper use of this tool. Liability for misuse of the Canvas Wizards Data Spell tool is not assumed.

Limitation of Liability

Liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from the use or the inability to use the service or any other matter relating to the service, is not borne by the owners, employees, and affiliates of Canvas Wizards.

No Warranty

The service is provided "as is" without any warranty or condition, express, implied, or statutory. No guarantee is made that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

Changes to Terms

The right to modify these terms at any time is reserved. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
